Our Research
The major concern of our research is to investigate the physics and chemistry of biological phenomena, and to explore the chemical reactivity and intermolecular interactions in chemical and biophysical systems using computational methods. Mostly, we employ QSAR, electrostatic potential, and electron densities of biological systems to seek a correlation of molecular reactivity with structural parameters. Recent examples of our biophysical systems included anticonvulsants, antihistamines, anti-carcinogenics, NSAIDs, anesthetics, and nitrobenzenes. Hydrogen-bonded clusters also, are of our concern.
