Abstract

Bluetooth is a new digital wireless technology that links different devices by using radio frequency as a way to communicate with each other. Bluetooth operates in a range staring at 2.402 GHz and stopping at 2.485 GHz. This range is in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) band. In this project, we used the Bluetooth technology in controlling the movement of our SumoBot Robot. We used the Embedded Blue 500 (EB500) module which is Bluetooth supporting module. The SumoBot Robot can be controlled by another robot or by using a PDA. The software used in the project developed using BASIC Stamp language.
